It was only a matter of time...

before something strange involving animals happened here in Florence.. tonight I came home as my landlords dogs were in the process of killing a Opposum... and it's babies... these photos are not pretty and the on camera flash make them worse.. and me finishing the job on the babies was less than lovely, I felt bad killing them but the landlords puppies were playing with them like toys and that was less ok.. why on my porch ??? here are the dogs post killing and the babies pre- smothering....
